How to create a session
A step-by-step guide to creating a Neeg Host session: naming it, picking games, sharing the link, and getting players in.
Learn how to switch between solo and team modes, configure 2 to 6 teams, and how scores are tracked across both formats.
When setting up a session, you choose between individual mode and teams mode.
Every player competes on their own. Scores are tracked per person. The leaderboard shows each player's total score across all games in the session.
Best for: small groups, quick games, competitive friends.
Players are grouped into 2 to 6 teams. Everyone on a team contributes to the team score. The leaderboard shows team totals rather than individual scores.
Best for: large groups, corporate events, ice-breakers.
During session setup:
When players join, they'll be asked to select their team from the lobby screen.
Each correct answer, vote, or game action earns points for the individual player. Those points are automatically added to the team's running total. No manual tallying required.
Teams mode is set at the start of a session and cannot be changed mid-session. If you want to switch, create a new session.
